APPROACH

The restaurant is well known to have a cozy and home-like ambiance which is similar to what a guest would feel in the comfort of a Filipino home. By combining a weave-like pattern found on a baníg and blending in everyday items and food found in a traditional Filipino household, it references back to the Filipino culture with the idea of bringing people together as one.

Fun fact: A baníg is a traditional handwoven mat of the Philippines predominantly used as a sleeping mat or a floor mat. The mat can be made of various types of materials such as buri, pandanus, or reed leaves.
